New Year 2014

Happy New Year!

As we leap into this new year at Savanna Animal Hospital, we have hope and sunshine in our hearts and smiles on our faces. Our staff has to be the greatest in the veterinary industry. I have never worked with so many hard working and compassionate people. Their diverse backgrounds and ages are a great mix, from the North East US Coast, Deep South, to England they bring together a team that works well together, respects and cares for our clients and our patients.

Dr Ries has 2 horses that are due to deliver their babies in the spring! Dr Ries is very passionate about her pets, in particular her wonderful horses that are quite like very large dogs!

I have adopted a wonderful hound puppy, Diva, that we have had at the hospital for months. She was recuperating from surgery for a broken leg and was no longer able to run in the fox hunts (no Real hunting being done, just horses following dogs, following smells). She is freelancing as a professional shredder, and has become quite proficient at gutting stuffed animals.

We are excited to be offering a series of pet health and training topics this year, on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7PM. Topics range from Alternative medicine options for your pets, to clicker training, to pet first aid and CPR.

See the events listing on our webpage for the schedule.

February is National Pet Dental Health Month, and we are offering 25% discounts on many dental services!

I want to thank all of you that are clients for allowing us to be a part of your lives and your pet’s lives. Thank you for referring your friends to Savanna Animal Hospital!

To those of you that do not know us, stop by for a visit and say hello. We can show you around and answer your questions. We strive to make our hospital a happy calm experience for you and your pet!
